The church mission is to preach and teach the word of God, where ordinances are administered and the doctrine of
sanctification or holiness is emphasized as being essential to the salvation of mankind. Inspiring people to be whom
God created them to be. Helping them to find their place in heaven, and developing their faith in Jesus Christ.

Pastor Archie L. Thomas Jr.

Pastor Archie Thomas Jr; Is a native of Arkansas. He accepted Christ in 1995. He is a humble, and gifted servant of God whose ultimate desire is to do the will of God. In 1990, God blessed him with a special gift in the person of his wife Evangelist Bridgette Thomas.

Her passion, zeal, and creativity for God are tremendous assets to the body of Christ. God has given them 4 beautiful children and 6 adorable grandchildren.

Pastor Thomas, served honorably as a veteran (Retired) of the United States Armed Forces for over 22 years. His education includes a degree from Vincennes University in homeland security and holds a degree in Christian counseling from Logos Theological Seminary. Pastor Thomas is an active member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

He has been consecrated and ordained under the banner of The Church of God in Christ; for over 25 years. Pastor Thomas is under the Leadership of Jurisdictional Prelate Bishop William S. Wright of Memphis Tennessee, Southwest Jurisdiction where he serves as Administrator assistant. In 2001 he became the Pastor and Founder of Living Word Church of God In Christ. Formerly (Solomon Temple).

As a visionary, for over 22 years He served the local community as the Director of Broadway Community outreach Ministries providing food, childcare, summer camps and feeding programs.

Pastor Thomas has purposed by faith and through the Word of God the great commission of the Church is to make disciples of every man. His vision for the last 22 years has been the priority of Living Word.

God is trusting Pastor Thomas with the covenant task of saving souls for His kingdom. He prayerfully accepted the call for such a time as this.

Lady Bridgette Thomas

The Mother of Four Amazing Children, and the proud Grandmother of 7 darling little Angels. She’s the Wife of Pastor Superintendent Archie L. Thomas Jr., Pastor of Living Word Cathedral Church in Osceola Arkansas. The couple has been faithfully married for 33 years and pastoring for 23 years. Dr. Thomas supports and assists her husband in ministry.

Dr. Thomas has been a licensed and consecrated Missionary Evangelist since 1994. She served as District Missionary In Arkansas First Jurisdiction for 10 years, and currently serves in Tennessee South West. She also serves with the National Hospitality and Greeters Ministry for the Church Of God in Christ.

Evangelist Thomas, has been formally trained In Ministry Work At Union University in Memphis Tn, and Holds a Doctorate Degree in Christian Leadership From North Carolina College of Theology. In the midst of it all, she has not swayed from her ministry mission. Dr. Thomas' current Ministries are Tremendous Power of Prayer and Girl Talk Ministry. Through these Ministries she exports and encourages her listeners to deepen their intimacy with God. She is also the author of “Tremendous Power of Prayer 21 Day Devotional”. Dr. Thomas readily and candidly shares the Word Of God wherever the Lord opens the door. We believe that the Lord has placed a mantle on her Ministry.
